Hi, welcome to DUC...

Do you have Pro Tools first installed on your e: drive? It needs to be on the c: drive. (You could have found that by googling your error message) and I suspect that is all that is going on here.

Now it would be nice for Avid to write software that was not so fragile, and if they can’t manage that to at least have the app check and fail with an actually useful message if it’s not installed where it needs to be.

If that is not it then much more info needed. Read “help us help you” up the top of each DUC web page and provide the type of information asked for there... including...

What computer and what exact OS
What exact Eleven Rack driver version?
Does the Eleven Rack show up as a sound device for the OS?
What is selected as the Setup>Playback Engine in Pro Tools.

There is no Setup>Eleven Rack menu in Pro Tools, what *exact* menu are you trying to use?

snip...
While this is true, and OP, make sure you have FIRST installed on the system drive, I too have had this error several times and I have FIRST installed on the C: drive. This happens on 2 different computers so there is something wrong in the code.

I would trash everything, run Ccleaner, and try a re-install.
