You need a Digilink interface and a HDX card and a Ultimate license or Cubase Pro but a HDX card is not the only thing you need to run cubase or any other DAW with a HDX card

Maybe. Actually you ask a question I don't know the answer. Avid Support may be able to tell you if they can provide driver download for HDX hardware customer. But AFAIK the driver comes with PT software.
