DigiAudioCore for MacOS X + DIGI 001

Dear Digi!

Apple Mac G4/867 (silver 2002) + MacOS 10.2.4 + DIGI 001 (w/o PT)

I have loaded the driver CoreAudio and in the Pref panel SOUND has setup all in match with the instruction (IN/OUT - Digidesign HW).
The panel AUDIO MIDI SETUP in MacOS X is also setup (IN/OUT - Digidesign HW).

With attempt to start =Digidesign CoreAudio Setup= is given out the message:

"DirectIO is in use by another app. In order to use this setup app, please quit all apps using DirectIO and relaunch this app.
Process ID (pid) of the app using DirectIO: 0 "

... started only FINDER!!!

With PLAYING apps iTunes, PEAK 3.2, SPARK XL 2.6 and etc., app is freeze and audio not played, while in an output will not nominate BUILT-IN AUDIO CONTROLLER.

Hi PM--

Have you installed PT 6.0.1? You must have PT 6.0.1 installed in order to use the CoreAudio driver.
