Default DSP MixEngine Cards Issue.

My Venue SC48 on startup shows following Dialogue box:

Confirm MixEngine Firmware Update

The firmware on two DSP MixEngine cards need to be updated.

The update procedure takes approximately 16 minutes, and can not be interrupted once started. The logo screen is displayed while the update is in process. Once the update is complete, the system will automatically shutdown.

Power the system back on to resume operations.

Option of UPDATE is there.

As soon as I try to press 'Update' the console shuts down and doesn't boot up.

I tried disconneting the cards and refitted them, but still the problem persists. Any solution? How is it possible that both cards stopped functioning/ died simulteneously?

it's more likely that one card failed, but since they're daisy chained it is showing as if two did. Have you called support?

I swapped Mix engine card position and thus TDM cable ports used on the card also changed. It started working fine. Might be some oxidation issue with TDM cable port or contact issue. Does not know exactly why...
