I think this will be great. I think George lost the passion quite a while ago. And Disney seems to be doing great with it's Marvel acquisition.


I am curious as to what they will do with Industrial Light and Magic and Skywalker Sound, since they do stuff for many different studios. Maybe they will just keep them running just as they are.

Wow - that's quite something.

I wonder if this is going to raise any anti-trust issues, with only a few major animation studios remaining (Pixar was already acquired by Disney a few years back). The deal is apparently subject to anti-trust approvals.

I hope that they won't start with lay offs...
I'm not good enough to see if this is good or bad.
Will they eliminate the parts that don't make profit?
