If I plant my Digi003 in a shaded area and water it regularly, will it turn into an HD rig, or does it need more direct sunlight?

An Update..

I went to Home Depot, and the guy in the gardening department suggested I use a chemical-based fertilizer. I'm more of a close-to-the-earth kind of guy, so I'd rather use the Aardvark and ST Audio products that have been composting in my back yard.

Have you guys found these off-the-shelf fertilizers to do the trick? And are there any risks I should be concerned about?

Oh also, should I leave my Digi003 plugged in during its transition?

I suggest Miracle Grow. My 003 with PT9 is working great. Still trying to find out if I can use it as a controller while running an ASIO interface for 32 channels?

Well seriously when Avid introduced the new interfaces, I wondered if they would offer a hardware upgrade discount, as they were doing last year up to HD.

Of course, we can always just sell older equipment and buy new HD equipment..

I used a fertilizer called "signature" by Black Lion Audio. You send is your 003 Rack, they pour in the fertilizer and in about two weeks, poof your rack is transformed into a real HD interface!!! It is really amazing, and now that PT9 is here the new growth is fully utilized!!!
