want to apply effects to stereo output
Hi, I want to apply reverb, effects, etc, to the mixed stereo track. I have created a master track, but that seems to only apply to one mono channel, either Out 1 or Out 2. I can group these two channels, but that does not make one insert apply to both tracks. I want to apply one insert to both out1 and out2 at the same time.

Are you using a STEREO Master track? I have never had any issue putting plugins(in stereo) on the master. You could also choose to bus everything to a new stereo AUDIO track and record that. The solo it and add plugins(or even export the track to a new session for your final treatment). having said that, I almost never put reverb or effects on the master, usually just EQ, comp/limiter and/or dither(but if it works for you, go for it)
