How to run a project II card on win98SE
I have two project II cards and 2 882 I/O interfaces. I want to run them under win98SE but I can´t find any drivers so that the card is recognized by Windows. I would like to use Cubase or Logic and found something about Direct I/O on the digi-homepage, but I don´t know how to use all the drivers I found there. Could somebody please help me! I even installed Session 8 and it won´t recognize the card ore the interface. If the equipment won´t work under WIN98SE I would use any other system and any other recording-software if it only works and I can get my two cards and Interfaces to work and I will be able to record and play back 16 track.
Thanks a lot |

Re: How to run a project II card on win98SE
Sorry we can't be much help here...
Software for the Project II card was provided by the 3rd Party companies that supported this card. Session 8 Software will not run on a Project II. |

Re: How to run a project II card on win98SE
I havent tried it yet but other members in the forum say the Wave Burner 1.6 driver is the most upto date version that works with Windows 98. You may already know this by now however. If you have found out anything else please let me know. Gonna try and do it myself this weekend hopefully.
