MP3 Export Option - paid for, but not happening...

I am having trouble getting MP3 Export Option to run With ProTools Free on a 400mhz Pismo Powerbook. My extension list is stripped right down to the bare minimum required for PTF to run, and it runs well…except that when I elect the" bounce to disk as an MP3" option, my system hangs. I have tried reinstalling both PTF and MP3 Export Option, but everything stops before I get to the dialog box where I’m supposed to enter the necessary numbers (in fact, right after I hit the "Bounce" button). I have plenty of hard drive space, I have recently transferred from a 400mhz iMac to the pismo.(I also purchased a D-Verb a while ago which has made the transfer without incident). Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks in advance……

I used the MP3 bounce option only briefly, and after comparing it to iTunes decided it wasn't worth paying for.

Don't have a clue why it's not working for you. I never tried it on my Pismo. I doubt it's an extension issue though.
