ProTools 6.4 is the last version that supports the ProTools|24 Mix and Digi001 systems, which means that these systems not are, neither will be approved with G5. During summer 2004 there will be a free 6.4 version for all users of ProTools|24 Mix systems with a registered 6.x available for webdownload from Digidesign.

ProTools 6.4 is a free download for ProTools|LE 6.x users (5.x users 675kr exkl moms ->note -prob ca $90 US), whilst upgrades for ProTools|HD users will cost 1200kr exkl moms ->note -prob ca $150 US.

ProTools 6.4 for ProTools|HD will be released by the end of april 2004.
ProTools 6.4 for ProTools|LE will be released 15 april 2004.

ProTools 6.4 is free of charge to all users that's bought ProTools|HD or ProTools|LE after 1 januari 2004. Important! This only regards registered users, and will be delivered directly to customer from Digidesign."

Thanks for the info...I guess that means the ICON and Command 8 really won't ship this month if the software needed to use them isn't even ready to ship yet.

sure... www.soundware.se you'll see some stuff on the first page in Swedish, follow the link on 6.4, and you'll see that they've prob just've copyed and pasted info they've got in english... ...conicdering the parts i've translated Swe/Eng myself -i'm not a full time translator guy or anything, but i can assure you my translations is 100% correct!
