Default Nehalem 8 core 2.93 or Westmere 3.33

Due to been sent the wrong Mac (2.26) after paying for a 2.6 I have been offered by apology the offer to buy at a great price a new Westmere 6 core 3.33 with 16 gb or used 8 core nehalem 2.93 with 32gb. If you could pick which machine what would you go for ? - I'm still undecided whether to go HDX or Native with PT10 as I'm currently HD3..... Any ideas ? Anyone using any of these machines ?
The Westmere will cost about £400 more ($700)
Thanks
Karl

My only concern would be that the 1 Socket machine does not accept the same mount of RAM (but still way enough).

BTW to get maximum memory speeds both machines need 3 or 6 slots filled (and not 4 or 8) with identical RAM. Thus 12/24/48GB is ideal and not 16 or 32GB!

I think I need to decide whether I'm going with HDX or HD Native - Both machines I reckon are great for HDX but I'm starting to think the WESTMERE 3.33 is the best machine for Native due to the faster Ram and faster processor per core ....

I have Westmere running HD Native Card. It smokes my HD3Accel on G5 like a kitty.

Westmere- it is more current and will be supported further into the future.
