producer's toolkit ilok problem/unused plugins folder

I was having problems getting the licenses to validate.
I hit "authorize", but it said no iLok was installed, even though it was, and I had just synched it and downloaded my licenses. This happened for each of the toolkit plugs.

Then I accidentally hit "yes" when asked if I wanted to move them to the unused plugins folder.

How do I go about installing the plugs?

Just drag them from the unused plugins folder, to the plugins folder.

I tried that, it didn't seem to do anything...can I simply re-install the producedr toolkit?

When you say 'it didn't seem to do anything' - can you be more specific? Are you being asked for authorization yet, or is there really just nothing happening - as in you're not being asked for authorization and the plug-ins aren't showing up?

Have you installed the latest PACE drivers? If you go to the iLok website, do the authorizations show on your iLok? Which plug-ins were you being asked about specifically?

And when you say 'Producers Toolkit', I'm assuming you're referring to the Producer Factory bundle, which includes these plug-ins:

Hi,
thanks for the reply.

When I originally got the toolkit, I installed, but did not have an iLok. I registered at the iLok site.

I opened PT, and was asked to authorize the toolkit plugs. I said "cancel." I was asked if I wanted to move the plugs to the unused folder, I said "no".

Then, I bought an iLok, synched it and downloaded the licenses. I opened PT again, but when I hit "authorize" PT said it couldn't detect an iLok. When asked if I wanted to move the plugs to the unused folder, I accidentally said "yes".

I moved all the contents of
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins (Unused)

to

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins

I started PT again, was not asked to authorize anything, and the plugs in your list are not present when PT is open.

I'm sorry, but your post is a bit confusing - are we talking about the Producer Factory bundle or a Toolkit bundle? They're two very different things.

In looking at your plug-in list, it does not appear that you have any of the Producer Factory bundle plug-ins installed. You may want to try running the installer for that bundle again.
