Default Are there any problems using an 2 888/24\'s with an 888/16

We finally got a Pro Tools setup and are searching around for an additional 888/24. Right now we have 2 888/24's and 1 888/16's. We're not fully hooked up yet (waiting on all the cabling) so we're not able to tell at the moment. Are there any issues using these 2 types of interfaces? If not, how much of a sonic difference is there. The 888/16 is one of the older Avid silverfaced ones.

Thanks in advanced for any help.
