888/16 record/playback 24bit for AES only?
We're setting up a stem recorder for film work. I've heard the 888/16 can record/playback 24 bit files using the AES in/outs only, with the AD/DA converters being just 16bit. Any truth to this?
We will have a PCI system not nubus. any help appreciated thanks |

Hi elbaro,
Yes, I believe this to be the case. See my thread about the 888/16 and Lynx interface...I am trying to do the same thing. Cheers N Y M O |
