PC freezes when "Some paths made inactive....." message appears (10.3.6)
I've just updated to 10.3.6 and the first session I opened the very first thing that happened was a message appeared to say my hardware settings and been changed and PT needs to quit. So I did (saving first - though worried that may have been a fatal error) and now on reopening I get the insufferable "Some paths were made inactive because they could not be assigned to existing path definitions" message (which I got in 10.3.5 anyway) but then my PC completely freezes. The CPU/fans audibly increase in activity and the situation is unrecoverable via CTRL+ALT+DEL and the only option is a PC reset.
Any one have any ideas how to solve this? thanks in advance! |
