For Waves users, this should be like getting a upgraded computer - for free. According to their chart, they cut the C4's CPU draw in half - very cool. Thanks for the tip.

Am I wrong or was there a lot of fuss about waves pluguns sounding different after an upgrade? 2.5 to version 3.0 or something

Will cutting all the cpu usage affect the quality?

Thanks for the info on Waves 3.5....have just upgraded , and waves certainly seem to run better, and an added bonus - they work better with Motormix too! Before some aspects of say Ren Verb couldn't be accessed from Motormix. Now everything can be twiddled and adjusted on the rotaries, and cursor doesn't seem to "lock into" a plug-in as previously, which used to drive me crazy. (escape would exit I later found).
