Default Reason Essentials and Mountain Lion

Hello I currently have pro tools 9 but I am looking into making the switch to pro tools 10. I am also looking into upgrading to Mountain Lion and wondering if Reason Essentials will work with Mountain Lion? If not what about Reason 6? I know I can upgrade from essentials to 6 but just thought I'd ask to see if anyone is currently able to use both Pro Tools 10 and Reason Essentials or version 6.

thanks

I`m assuming you have Reason Essentials from some kind of Pro Tools bundle, since you are asking here on the Pro Tools forums. Regarding Reason and Mountain LIon you should be asking on the propellerheads forums, since only they know if reason works with ML.

Very few have installed Pro Tools on ML yet, so I don´t think you´ll find to much help in that area. I can tell you that the Mbox drivers work great on ML, but I haven´t installed PT yet, so I´m not sure how it would work.

Good luck

I checked on the propellarheads forum and was told to go here because of the rewire issue there might be.

I see. Hopefully someone will chime in on the rewire issue.

I´m currently waiting for Avid to update the PT installers for ML.

For pro tools 10? I also heard maybe pro tools 9 will work but that makes no sense to me at all. I thought Lion didn't even work with that.

Actually Russ from ProTools Expert (the old Air Users Blog guy) has PT running on ML and according to him it's working okay but he warns that's only his system; others may have a different experience.
