So I finally got it all to install.

I did have to do it several times though as for some reason after upgrading to 10, all the Strike files went missing? (I did do the whole set content path as well when it was lost) but the content was gone!

then when I did get it going it worked once and then I got a "DAE error 7054" every time I tried to load "Strike".

however after going through the whole process a few times I have not had that problem with it since.

Fingers crossed its all sorted!

I've been getting this for the most part (sometimes it works) and can't load Strike up at all?

I've searched the forums and other than trashing prefs (which I did) I can't seem to get an explanation as to what the error actually is?

Yep thats exactly what has been happening to me, EXACTLY.

It works sometimes but then it doesn't. It seems very odd.

DAE error -7054 is a generic error (CantInstanciatePlugIn), so unfortunately that doesn't tell us much.

What is the specific version # of Strike on your system?

The Pro Tools 10 installer will update installed plug-ins to the current version. An updated PTIEP installer is in the works, since running that after installing PT10 actually installs older versions of Strike, etc.

On a related note, the AIR VIs/content included with Pro Tools and AIR Effects are broken out as the "AIR Virtual Instruments" installer in Pro Tools 10. This does not include the Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack (PTIEP) VIs/content.

Thanks for replying DigiTechSupt.

The specific version is the one from Install_Strike_Disc_1_mac_v15_65549.dmg which I downloaded from my products page after purchasing it 2 days ago. 8-)

So I have the PT 10 Installer (Pro_Tools_10_Installer_73451.dmg) and the AIR Instrument Installer (Avid_Virtual_Instruments_10_Installer_73465.dmg) downloaded only 5 days ago.

Should I re-run the PT 10 Installer?

Let me know if there is any other info you need to help me fix this problem.
