Default Video Satellite image quality question

Hey all- we are running video satellite le on a G5, with the Digi- recommended Blackmagic card. Working on a film for which we have a
DVCPRO HD 720p60 .mov file. Here's the issue we are having - if we play the file using just the Quicktime player, the titles (which are white text against a black background) look very crisp and clear. If we open the app that lets us play the file using just the Blackmagic card, which is paying to a large HD display via HDMI, the titles look the same, very crisp and clear. If we put the exact same file in ProTools and play out through the same Blackmagic card the titles are wildly jaggy and low-res looking.
I am wondering if anyone has had any similar issues, or might have any
secret Video Satellite LE tips....
thanks very much

John A

Thanks for the response. Did change that pref to High Quality, but see no perceptible change in image quality as a result.
The file also plays fine in Final Cut.

Are you going out correct output on the BlackMagic (720p60)?

Also, in the System Preferences/Decklink Panel, uncheck "Remove field jitter when video is paused". For us, when it's enabled, it makes all of the edges jagged.

That did it- thanks very much. Perhaps the preference should say "induce field jitter when video is played"

Looks VERY nice now.

The way Chris (cjguitar) found it is we had the problem with VVTR and the Decklink card. Now that we are on Satellite and the new Decklink HD card we found it is there also. There is a reason for it that escapes me now. It isn't a bug, just a choice.
