Recording mix to another channel-different level???
So I'm recording a stereo mix to a stereo audio channel instead of BTD.
I've got some plugs on the channel that I'm busing over to the stereo channel to record. The channel that I'm sending is clipping a little when I hit record on the channel I'm sending it to...yet when I just hit play the channel does not clip? I don't get it. I realize make sure it doesn't clip...I got that. I'm just wondering why it's clipping when I hit record yet not when I hit play. I'm on input...it's not like I'm listening to something else when i hit play instead of record. It's the same source being sent...only it clips when I hit record but not play. |
