Yepp, thanks.
The only drawback with the audio input feature is additional latency and as I am also running UAD-2 quad I have to have my PT buffer @256 samples.
So it seems the audio input makes my system latency approx 1000 samples which make it a little slow when recording MIDI VI´s.s
Without the audio input it is +500 samples which is more acceptable.
Anyhow, a great application for a great price.

Can the audio input feature be disabled to avoid the additional latency in v5?

I had trouble at first. Wouldn't find the path to Kontakt. So I thought I had my VST settings incorrect. But they were correct. Tried changing that to a bogus location just to delete the setting; then back to correct and everything has been fine since.

Yes of course, it is a separate "plugin" that you insert in your main DAW.

Cool! Does anyone know if they are planning on making this work as an AAX plugin?

John you're showing little faith in AAX.

Yeah, I know it's inevitable, just wondering if it will be a major revision that is a paid upgrade or not. The audio input feature is tempting, but I don't necessarily need it. A working VST/AU to AAX, that can host plugins and not just VIs, and that works over a network connection.... That's progress, and makes me a lot more interested in PT10.

I gather you don't own Omnisphere.... ^_^

Seriously, VEP + 3rd Party VI + PT = Heaven... PT + 3rd Party VI = Hell.
