Default Re: Presonus Studio One For Performance

I ended up with a TF5 works ok with PT 2018.7 which did in initial tests seem to bring out the CPU overload error a few times. Putter is in getting repaired so could test it further unless I bring out ol chug chug..... pfffffft naaah.

But I also ran Cubase with the TF5 stable as and ran without issue.... apart from that I don’t see any issues running the either on the TF although Cubase Pro I’m not limited to 32 of the 34 I/O available to me. But hey not going to need that to often. Otherwise the console work really well as 32/32 I can run already recorded channels back through the console as I’m laying more down independently on each channel. So suits what I need and a nice lil console to run our PA.

I also looked at upgrading to S1 4 Artist upgrade then Pro upgrade. $50 + $250 = $300.
Head to AudioDeluxe and get the upgrade for $250

Thanks for the tip, but too late for me. I already paid the $299.

Still a much better deal than $99/yr for PT vanilla. With S1 I get all version 4 updates for free. Yeah, I'll have to pay if I want v5 when it comes out. But that will be my informed decision based upon what the upgrade offers. Not like Avid where you pay in the hope that something useful will be included at some point, with no roadmap to even let me know what I'm hoping for. And you're financially penalized if you decide to skip the annual fee.
