Love the plugin though.
Can't say that I've had that message. Then again I rarely hit 50% ram usage in PT sessions.

Thanks for the info. The problem never, in the end though, has anything actually to do with RAM. It's just a bogus error that prevents the plugin library from being functional and accessible. Restarting Pro Tools fixes it. It's a pain in the butt though.

It's really sad, after all the waiting to see TL Spaces (now called Space) be ported to AAX and have to buy another plugin cause they didn't do the job right... That's why I didn't even demo all the new AVID pro plugins... They must be good, but in the long term, they will get useless.

On 32-bit systems Reverberate is going to help you run out of RAM more quickly than would happen on 64-bit systems. It could be more memory hungry than some other convolution reverbs as the policy is to load and pre-process as much as possible while an 'old' convolution is running and swap them in before deallocating old memory to ensure as many updates are glitch and drop-out free as possible (like regular algorithmic reverbs tend to be). That uses more memory than dropping to silence, clearing up and then making new changes. I think this is generally preferable since so many are moving towards high memory 64-bit systems now.

Thanx for the info Matt. I, however, doubt that this is an actual RAM issue because the "out of memory" error message to completely random. It will show up in one out of ten session boots. If you restart Pro Tools Reverberate will not throw the error and will function perfectly. I would imagine that the RAM issue would be either all of the time within the same session dependent on the RAM usage of that session. This is not the case as the session that throws the error is the same session that re-opens after re-start with Reverberate functioning perfectly well.

I'm demoing Reverberate now and absolutely love it. No problems so far and sounds great. Thanks for the tip.

Hi all - does anyone have any news on a fix for Space yet? I'm on PT 12.4 with version 12.0 of Space.

Really hoping this gets fixed as I've been using Space in a project that's about to wrap.

Many thanks,
