Default 9060 and 9031 dae errors after upgr to 8.0.3

After upgrading to 8.0.3, I'm getting a lot of dae 9031 en 9060 errors.
Both errors always occur directly after each other, mostly after editing a region.
Anyone else having this problem?
Or the solution to it?
I already trashed all prefs, but that didn't help.

Ok, seems this is an 8.0.3 problem.
I reverted to 8.0.1 and everything is working just fine, no dae 9060 or 9031 errors anymore!

Anyone out there has or recently had the same problem with 8.0.3???

Are you 32 bit or 64 bit?

Yup, getting a ton of them here today now too. 8.0.3 on Leopard and 2.66 dual Mac Pro. Only fix is restarting, Pro Tools refuses to play after it happens....

EDIT - didn't realize I posted this on the windows forum, but I'm seeing it on Mac too, if that helps any...

I have the same problem, but it is on my LE system. Errors 9060 and 9031 are happening in that order when you press play right after edit. I'm on Win7 64bit, i7 processor, Gygabyte MB and ATI card PT LE 8.0.3. There is nothing else in that comp, so I am suspicious about ATI drivers causing errors. Breakie, what display card do you have? I have only basic PT8 plugins instaled so that can't be the problem. All this is with audio drivers that came with 8.0.3 instaler, because x64 drivers are causing thin distorted sound (something like resampling problem artifacts) that was also mentioned in some other post, so they are unusable.

Also I have a problem draging upper left side of the region to the left in smart tool mode (to create fade-in) does not make anything, fade-in has to be made with dragging upper left region side to the right. This is all in LE, but it would be nice if someone could confirm if HD 8.0.3 is having similar problems or not, because now I am not sure should I update my HD system anymore..

Thanks

Hi Zzzele,

I'm using an Nvidia graphics card! (9600gt).
And I have a lot of other plugins installed (waves, soundtoys, PSP...)

And indeed, the "dragging a fade from the left hand corner of region" DOES NOT WORK here. So the issue is similar in the HD version.

Anyone else?

Before we can assist you further, have you tried any of the suggestions in the General Troubleshooting thread, or done a search for those errors either here on the DUC or in our Answerbase or Knowledgebase? There are many possible causes and solutions for those errors and likely your situation has already been covered in one of those areas.

After you've done that, if you're still having problems, please see the Help Us Help You thread for details about what we need to know to assist you further.

I think that my problem with 9060 and 9031 errors is finaly over. Solution for me wasn't to disable bacround services or devices, it was simply opening Pro Tools as System Administrator. Clicking on Pro Tools desktop icon with right click, choosing Properties -> Compatibility -> tick Run this program as an administrator -> Ok. When you click to start Pro Tools, it looks like PT start to open little bit slower with administrator permission, but when it starts loading after 6-7sec, it loads with no problems. Now editing and playing right after or starting play right after scrubing as working perfectly. This is in 45min session with HD video in window. Breakie try this if you haven't already and please post the result!
