Default Track Presets

I know this is still in its infancy so might be a bit early to ask this but anyway....

Anyone have any thoughts about the best way of maximising this new feature efficiently?

So far I've set up 2 different "master" aux presets which is great as I usually end up using one of two chains for mixing. But how about anything else? A standard "gate->compressor->EQ" preset is another obvious choice (i.e. basically emulating an analogue console), and maybe a "guitar-amp" track preset with an EQ and/or compressor tagged on the end, but other than that I'm kind of stuck for what else to set things up for. Seems a bit daft to set up a bundle of different FX chains, for instance, as they tend to change from song to song, and anyway it's dead easy to import aux tracks from previous sessions without too much kerfuffle.

Cheers for any thoughts.

I have presets in waves studio rack for things like female/male vox, b vox. ac gtr, etc. Just glancing through the stock avid track presets they seem to be similar so I'm basically working on porting "type" presets in the same vein with non avid plugs. I have never done the work around that is listed in this forum so it will be a good start for me.

Default Track Presets

Well for one thing I have a preset for my lead vocal in conjunction with my mix template. I can select all my lead vocal tracks and with one preset I can insert my favorite four plugins, four auxes, have them all assigned to one group, and bussed to my vocal sub group. Multiply that by each group of tracks (drums, gtrs etc) and I save boatloads of time on session setups.

If tracks presets can't upload to cloud, it is much much less useful. i have serval station. if only can store on local drive, it doesn't mean anything. I have template store on Google Drive, i can import in any where in any time...
