Default Getting Sync to default new projects to a specific setting

At the school I teach at, we have a SYNC IO with two 192's running an HD2 TDM system.

Every project that comes into the studio that gets loaded for the first time on this system gets the error: "The SYNC Clock Reference isn not locked. Although the system will still play, it will not properly resolve until the clock is restored. Check your cables or change the Clock Reference or Clock Source."

It is then easily resolved by going into the Session Set-up, SYNC Setup and Timecode Offsets and switching the Clock Reference from Loop Sync to Internal/VSO in where we get the message, "The SYNC Clock Reference is now locked."

So although it gets solved this way, it is so annoying that every single project (which are tons of projects) always need to have this changed. Is there a way that SYNC setup could just automatically use the Internal/VSO on projects coming into the studio for the first time?

We are on Pro Tools 10.3.7 on 10.6.8 on an 8 core (MacPro3,1, Xeon) 2.8 Mac Pro with 8 GB of RAM.

Okay, I think I figured out the problem. Apparently the person who set up SYNC in the studio got LOOP SYNC and EXT Word Clock Ins and Outs mixed up. So once I completed the full LOOP SYNC connection, there has been no need to change the clock in each session.
