Can I defrag my MAC HD without buying Norton Utilities? Maybe from OSX?

Copying files is the cheapest and best [ for audio ] way of defragging.

You need a bootable cd or other bootable partition for defragging a system partition.

The better softwares are:

Alsoft 'Plus optimizer' From the Disk Warrior guys

'Speed Disk' from norton utilities is another
