DD a dead product soon?

Hi,
I have just ordered a GT-server only to find the message that the device is no longer supported by digi. Great.
What will happen to the client-software download-info sent out in every notification e-mail? Will it still work in a year from now?
What will happen to the software-update feature on the admin-page of the server?
Did I just spend 10k for a dead product?
What will happen to the announced drop of the 16GB size-limitation. I think the manual has been saying "in the near future" for 1-2 years now.

I got an answer from Aspera saying that none of my fears are going to come true and that the product is not only going to be supported but also get even better.

I wonder if they will support future versions of PT session formats and if Digi will drop the "send via digidelivery" feature from PT.

Digidesign and Avid intend to maintain the current Send via DigiDelivery capability in Pro Tools and Media Composer for the forseeable future. It is to our advantage to have an integrated file transfer solution, and this feature will only become more powerful as Aspera continues to develop DigiDelivery.
