Re: How many of you are glad you kept your TDM rig?
Mike,
That's a great find!!! I'll have to try out the plug-in. I have used MH Thump many times, but none of their other plug-ins. I also saw that it was only $30 at one point with a no brainer deal. Still, considering the EQ and dynamics and AAX DSP, it still seems like a great deal for the $129. I'll have to try it out.

Re: How many of you are glad you kept your TDM rig?
If only Waves could be brave enough to risk a dollar in order to most likely make many more dollars. Their business plan seems incredibly chicken hearted, for lack of the more obvious word, to me

Brave enough? It's been 20 years since Waves was brave, as in developing TDM plugins of decent quality.
Now if they would be not stupid enough to ef the user base that made them "the industry standard" they like to think they are, I'd be first in line to re-wup for AAX-DSP compatibility.

Re: How many of you are glad you kept your TDM rig?
Did I mention that I haven't renewed my WUP because they don't support all major platforms as they promised?
Yes they work in Protools, but AAX-DSP *IS* a platform of its own. It's like stating "we support Protools LE but not Protools HD, because we don't have the skills it takes"

Fair enough. Still doesn't mean that they aren't chicken s--t, among other things, though.
