Part of the problem is you give us zero system information. Stuff like PT version, operating system, etc. Also nothing on what you were doing when this error popped up. Please read and follow the 'help us to help you' that's at the top of every page. There's no such thing as too much information when asking for help.

Assuming this is German Babelfish comes up with this translation:
Request could not be completed. Reason: File or folder not found (-43) when creating \"Users\" when creating \"xxx\" when creating \"Documents\" when creating \"Pro tool"

Googling 'aae 43 error' comes up with a few things but none that are spawned by PT. According to this link: http://www.wiki-errors.com/err.php?wiki=43
it's a Windows error code and therein lies the problem with not giving us system info as one could give an answer that might not be right for your system. And you posted in a Mac forum.

and pro tools first

System information is VERY important because without it, like I wrote before, one can give wrong info or info for another operating system that isn't for what you're running. And you still haven't said what version of OSX you are running. That is important. Also important - what exact Mac do you have?

Questions: are you running as administrator? You need to.

Do you have the license for PT|First on ilok or machine authorization?

Have you done all the optimizations for running Pro Tools ??

License - do you have an iLok2 or 3? That's what holds your PT license asset. You need to have that.
