contacting another DUC member for asking assistance if needed or helping others who could benefit from information I may be able to provide? How can I find out if other members are open and receptive to private messages from other members?

click on there user name and if they have an email contact there, it will be available to you. You have to turn on the PM ability. As a side note, I checked yours and you have your PM ability disabled. But just do it if they have the ability enabled. If they are not interested, they would not have turned on the PM ability imo. I have always answered and helped anyone who PM's or emails me.

Thanks for your response guitardom. I'm still slow about some features of the DUC but with help from members like you I hope to catch up. I pomise not to be a pest.
