Not to scare you but being totally honest.... HP computers are the worst computers on the planet to buy for digital audio. They are highly incompatible with most audio hardware. Not saying it won't work, but your chances of having problems are significantly greater with any off the shelf computer such as an HP, Compaq, Gateway, etc.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Well I'd have to disagree with their Pentium line of computers. I used a P3 with the 810E chipset for a year with very few problems. If it is a pentium 3 I'll bet it will work. If it is an Athlon then you may be out of luck. They used alot of the Asus K7M motherboards with a slot A processor that was a great combo for everything except digi001. It does not work.
Good luck,

Isnt HP really an abbreviation for "HelP!"

Ok, that was stupid...
But seriously, when you buy any computer(HP, Compaq, Dell, Vaio) They load those guys down with so much software and crap that it makes windows run 9 billion times slower then without them(Either 9 or 10 billion times slower, dont remember).

Its better (and usually more cost x performance efficient) to build yourself, or even have one of those oriental owned hole-in-the-wall computer shops build you a system.
