Help me out of this mystery MBox\\LE6.1
Yep! I hope someone out there can help.
I am like a new born baby to Pro Tools MBox and PowerMac G4 OSX. I believe I have set things up right but not a 100% sure. I am at this stage just trying to open up a new session in Pro Tools to see what it looks like. But the screen just freezes up showing the message " You have to restart your computer ". Could I be opening this in the wrong file setting? Where should I be storing any session work. Please enlighten me if you are a deft hand at Pro Tools and Power Mac G4. Thanks in advance Ray |

Re: Help me out of this mystery MBox\\LE6.1
You probably have an incorrect version installed for your operating system. Post back with your Mac OS and PT version numbers, or better yet - do the footwork on your own and check out the compatibility pages

Re: Help me out of this mystery MBox\\LE6.1
You have to upgrade your version of Pro Tools. I ran into the same problem when I got my Mbox, and it took me a little while to figure out why. Hope everything works for you after that.
