Pro tools 12.8.2 License expired ?
Hello community,
First of all, I've been reading previous post that might be similar to this one but I haven't found satisfaction. Here @ home it seems to be a bit of everything I've read. By advance, sorry for the "drama story booboo" incoming. I need to drop it somewhere... Infos are after the spamed I've recently upgraded a computer build to properly use some new plug-in which are quite gourmand. It took me few hours to build everything from scratch including a proper windows 7 install which I patched to use 7th gen cpu on it. It took me more than half-day only to install pro tools -12.8.2 because It's always a pain to install it... (corrupted download, missing dll from 2005 redis / vcredi~3 and so on) After all that mess I ended up to be shtuck with my LOVELY Ilok manager telling me that my Pro tools license has expired since 30/11/2017. To be honest I've sent a salty request n° 03357998 Infos : - License appears to be expired since 30/11/2017 on Ilok manager. - I own an annual license which I pay monthly and which is active now. - This annual license is on auto-renewal and will run till "Mar 20, 2018" (payments are automated.) - I had trouble to reactivate the license in November because of a credit card change. But thanks to Gerard case was solved (n°03332236) - Everything was in order since this. - I was able to work on Pro tools right before my pc upgrade. (In December) - I wont post my system ID in there. Wtf is happening??? Note : I'm currently (and more frequently) using Reaper for common projects but I use pro tools on my side because "It's pro tools" and I'm more familiar with it. Still, the frustration is real... A quick help would be more than appreciated! By advance thank you.
