AD16x digitest firmware update
Hi Just moved cards around so I was running digitest- I have a 192 and an AD16x, I went ahead and updated the F/W for the 192 via the digitest page- but I doubt that it would be a good idea for the AD16x? Anybody? I don't feel I really need to update the AD16x FW as I have the newest one that supports 16ch IO on the digilink- but I was wondering if it WILL be able to update this way- as the midi way for the apogee is rediculous. Any news on that? Thanks-

You can only update the firmware on the Apogees, and the X-HD cards via the midi ports. I think the biggest problem I have is that they didn't put the midi ports in the back of the unit. You need to unrack it, then unscrew the top of the Apogee... terrible F.
