midi input?
Been trying to use sampletank. I know that for an rtas(vst) u need a midi track and a aux track. Select my rtas(vst) in the aux track. Next i go to my midi channel set the input as my midi keyboard which is a Ensoniq EPS16+. And i set the output of the midi as Sampletank2. But i also notice that it says Sampletank2,1,CH.2 (No Channels Activated) this sampletank works in any other program that i have. Even record enabled the midi track. Is there something i'm doing wrong. Been driving me totally nuts

Have you tried loading a sample into sampletank and playing it? What happens?

Load a sound in Sampletank.

Re: midi input?
Hi,
I'm using Protools LE 6.4 on Win XP. Now I've tried to dive into the World of Sampletank and I'm having similar problems to digiboy4lyfe. 1. I have created an aux track and placed the sampletank RTAS as an insert 2. I have loaded a few sample sounds in sampletank under buttons 1,2 & 3 3. I have created a midi track and tried to select the output as Sampletank channel 1,2 or 3, but they all say "No channel activated" I have also record armed the midi track. ... so basically I can't get a sound. Although the green bars are indicating that notes are being played. Should the in's and out's of my aux track be selected as something in particular? Or should the grey menu's at the top of the sampletank box be changed to something in particular? |
