Default Show what group(s) a channel is assigned to in Edit window

This might be something that doesn't exist...

I work mostly in the edit window. Seeing what channels are in a group is simple by right-clicking/option-clicking on the group in the group window.

But... it would be really helpful to see what groups a channel is assigned to - by right-clicking or command-clicking or whatever on the channel name. Or is there a key command for this? I can't find one.

Does this exist?

Thanks,

Myles

Yes, in the mix window; I strongly believe, Myles looks for a solution in the edit window (at least according to the thread title ...) .

With the group list shown in the edit window, and one track selected : a little unfilled circle appears left of the group name on the group list, meaning : a member of this group is selected. I think, that is the only indication available in the edit window concerning this.
Apart from the obvious : personal color coding of grouped tracks or a certain naming convention.

Ha! Thanks, john1192. I need to go through that entire section again. As I mentioned, I work in the edit window 99% of the time, but, hey, I can use the mix window, too, I suppose...

I'll attach a moan here - it would be great to have the PTRM printed out. But then it would change a couple of times a year. Sigh.

Thanks, Joachim. As you point out, there's no real solution in the edit window.

The little circles in the group list are just that: little. With HD monitors, everything is small, and, for those of us past our sell-by date, getting smaller. Almost everything requires moving from working position to "what does that say?" position, also known as "Why aren't the little arrows to open automation lanes larger?" position.

I'm waiting for the large type edition of PT.
