Using Reason and Rewire Issue
I often use Reason (right now just Reason Adapted...but I plan to go to the full Reason 6.0 soon) for this or that on instrument tracks.
One little issue I keep bumping into that I can't quite figure out. On a mix I worked on yesterday I had instrument track 1 using Reason's "Combinator and intrument track 2 set to Redrum. On track 1 I selected Combinator for the rewire connection, and on track 2, Redrum. But, if I solo track 2, Redrum, I still hear them playing? Can't figure out why. And vice versa, I can hear the combinator playing the drum notes. What am I missing so that each track goes to its own instrument only? I don't have this issue at all using Reaper with different VI's installed on several tracks. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Do I need to change something with the output "wires" on the flip side of the Reason rack?
