Mac OS9 w/PT4.3.1 Powermix?
Just tried to install and run PT 4.3.1 Powermix on my G3 (Lombard) powerbook. I was able to authorize its drive via SCSI disk mode from another computer, but when I try to launch PT, the Powerbook freezes. I was able to launch PT from the Powerbook when it was in SCSI disk mode (the host computer had PT 5.0 installed), but PT will not launch from the Powerbook by itself.
Anone had any luck getting DAE powermix to run on a recent Powerbook with OS 9? What about OS 8.6? Thanks for any help. Bob

Re: Mac OS9 w/PT4.3.1 Powermix?
I have it working with a Pismo/500. You must install the key using the Superdisk USB floppy drive with the 3.0 extensions and Pace 2.0 extension. Good luck!

While being unsupported on a powerbook, the main problem is you cant run DAE/DSI 3.4.x on MAC OS 9.X If you can run Mac OS 8.6 you should be able to run powermix. Mj |

Powermix runs fine on my Lomby with OS9. Have you tried the base set of extensions?
I used the DAE/DSI on the 5.0 CD. Have you also tried trashing your DAE prefs? [This message has been edited by Silver Surfer (edited May 19, 2000).] |
