The $99 came from the AES press conference. The Digi guy was asked about prices for recent LE purchases, and at first he said it would be free if you bought after 4th October, then another Digi guy corrected him and said it would be $99.
But then the FAQ has a different story. Are they still going to ship the Mbox with LE??
