Default Midi Moose.. possible to mod 11R midi settings?

I'm very bad with MIDI.. never really used it before. I bought the Midi Moose as a footswitch as I was hoping for something simpler than the commonly recommended Behringer. Problem is, it's setup for patterns of 5 banks, so clicking on #5 actually takes me to B1. Then moving up a bank #1 is B2, and so on, so everything shifts around due to the mismatch.

I contacted Tech21 and they said there's nothing that can be done on their end as it's not designed to be programmed. So is there anything I can do on the 11R side, or do I need a new pedal?

Nope. The Eleven Rack just wants MIDI commands (all documented in the user guide). How your MIDI do-dad behaves is it's and your problem.

Thanks guys. Glad to hear something because I had no clue where else to look. So basically, I need a new controller huh? Back to square one then. Maybe I'll just go with the Behringer since everyone else uses it. I'm guessing that one you have to program?

All depends on what you want to do. But the world is full of choices...

Liquid Foot http://www.famcmusic.com/store/liquid-foot
Voodoo Ground Control Pro http://www.voodoolab.com/gcontrolpro.htm
Fractal MFC-101 http://www.fractalaudio.com/p-mfc-10...controller.php (esp. if you might get an Axe-FX in future)
FCB1010 http://www.eurekasound.com/eurekaprom/11

If you describe what you are trying to do in what situations, and your budget, folks here might give you some recommendations.

etc.

Since I already had the Behringer FCB1010 laying around, I ordered the EUREKA eprom - http://www.eurekasound.com/eurekaprom/11 and it works very good and it is super easy to use.
From what I see online it is also not that expensive.
I don't have much experience with the other mentioned controllers, but I would really recommend FCB1010 for 11R.

Well I initially went with the midi moose because I wanted something super small and simple. I wanted Banks 1-4 and up/down. So I thought it was perfect, just an extra button in there.. but obviously that extra button ended up ruining it.

That's really all I need. I wanted to spend $100 or less (ebay). I wouldn't exactly hate something like the FCB, but it's just overkill since I'm just playing at home for now and don't do much switching. But it's also cheap so no big deal. If there's anything that's 1-4/up/down for cheap I'll probably get that (I don't remember finding anything else though). If not, I'll probably get the FCB if it's fairly hassle free.

Not sure where my reply went.. but I was ideally looking for what I thought was almost exactly what the Midi Moose is. I just wanted Presets 1-4 and a bank up/down. I looked for a while and that was the closest thing I could find for <$100. Unless there's anything else like this in that price range, I'll probably go for the FCB since really I'm just looking for something in that budget.
