HD Omni routing noob question

Hey i have my Omni connected to an SSL X-Desk and i want to connect an Oscilloscope and tap into my master bus.
So basically i want to see the waveform coming from my master out, so i was wondering if i could send this out via SPDIF to my oscilloscope and how do i go about doing so?

Probably need some kind of D>A converter to feed analog to the scope. Maybe there is a plugin that would give you info you want without all the hassle?

So the SPDIF wont do the trick then, could i use the FX send 1 and 2 to send stereo information to the Oscilloscope ?

Any set of analog outputs should work, What is the ultimate goal here? Still wondering if you are choosing the "hard way" to do something. Maybe its just me, but I have never heard or seen anyone do this

Im not gonna use it as a tool, i just like the visual effect of seeing the waveform displayed when i am working!
The software products that are available are to far away from hardware IMO. Atleast from what i want out of it
