My friend owns a MA-200, and we've been using it together for over a year now. It sounds great. If you're sick of brittle high end from the cheap chinese mics, this will be a nice change. There's a huge tube sound that you can notice right away. Sounds nice on vocals and acoustic guitar.

Good luck - and dealing with Dave (Royer) was great. He's generous with the price and shipping and all that.

Tom.

I haven't had a chance to really test it out yet, but off the bat, i'm not impressed with the construction... the shock mount looks like someone tried to make it in their garage.. but hey, as long as they didn't skimp on components, I'm not sure I care. I suppose that's the price to pay when you get a $1000 mic that is comparable (in theory) to $4-5000 ones.
