Default New Bundle Upgrade Shut Me Down

I just downloaded the new $30 Factory bundle upgrade and now I cant launch pro tools. I am getting the following error:

Could not complete your request because Access violation occured, unable to read location: 0xBBA458B4 at address: 0x62108A22 in module: DAE.dll.

Anyone else have this issue? I updated my ilok and synched it. It seems to be ok, then when I tried launching pro tools I got this error message.

Maybe run a repair install of PT 8.0, update your Pace drivers and make sure your running the very latest plug in versions. Thats were I would start.

Ok I just did a repair install, all of my drivers are up to date, and I am still getting this message and pro tools wont launch. Any other suggestions. I am in the middle of a project and I am down.

This is the new error I am getting after the repair install.

If the only thing you have done is update the Bomb Factory bundle, try launching PT holding down Shift and choose no plug-ins.
See what happens. Let us know.

Ok, I tried holding down shift while launching pro tools and it still didnt work. It gets to the "loading plug-ins waveshell-dae 5.2 dpm and then it gives me the "access violation" error listed above. It never did give me the option to load without plug-ins though and I tried it 3 times.

I know Tom will know for sure but you may need to update your Waves to something higher than 5.2....5.9 maybe? you might want to check Waves for the latest update.

Hi Marshallcranker, Waves 5.2 gives grief in PT8. Some have had luck with 5.97 but I had to go all the way to 6r4 to get stability. V6xx has a much better iloc scheme so I would do that if I were you.

Also...
Just curious, have you tried to install Waves Gtr Solo Free. Not suggesting you do so, just wondering.

Sorry it takes me so long to respond. I work all day and then in the studio at night. I updated Waves and it didnt help, so I totally uninstalled my waves plugins and that didnt help either. No, I havent downloaded Waves Gtr Solo Free. I havent realy done anything abnormal except purchase the new factory bundle. As soon as I downloaded it, I couldnt launch pro tools. By the time I get off work, it is nearlly impossible to get Digidesign tech support on the phone after having to wait on hold forever. I am down and out. Any more suggestions?
