TL Space is TDM while Altiverb is HTDM.

TL Space is actually both Accel TDM and HTDM. If you're using TL Space on TDM, the maximum reverb time is 3.0 seconds. If you use it in HTDM, reverbs can be longer.

I found some oddities in AV5 already, but they will be solved i guess. Growing pains of the version 5.0.0 i think. I have send my report to them but they haven't answered either. I guess they are in the middle of huge piles of support issues now.

TL Space versus Altiverb 5:

TL space runs on TDM Accel latency free. You need a lot of cards though because it is hungry...
Both do HTDM, RTAS and Audiosuite. I have no HDTM issues here, others report they do.

Altiverb has a bigger IR library at the moment but TL is working on theirs.

TL can read the older pre v5 Altiverb IR's, Waves IR's, Space Designer IR's.

Altiverb 5 has some more controls, but most of them only work on the Audioease IR's.

Altiverb has a preprocessor to make your own IR's. TL will release one on a next version i read somewhere.

I think these are the main differences, but i am sure i forgot some...
