message stuck on screen

I have an avid mc control, after powering up the unit the screen is stuck on the euphonix screen. Is my unit broken or is there a reset that i can do to fix this problem. I used the ethernet cord that came with the unit and also a separate cord. It was plugged into a switch and i also plugged the cord into the mac directly and still the same issue. Is there anything i can do. Thx for any help you can give.

I'm assuming you have installed the EuCon software on the computer and configured it to look for the surface?

Correct I did I tried everything in order from what the documentation said. I did use the newest downloadable sw. Then I downloaded the version before the latest version and got the unit to the next screen

Ok my Mc control has passed the euphonix screen it came up but I still can't assign functions I am so lost I might look at getting something else
