Cubase to Protools
I use Cubase to record my tracks at home, then I go to a big studio to do vocal tracking. Is there anyway of converting or having Protools read my Cubase files? As it stands, now I have to create a stereo track, burn it to CD, and take that to the studio to do the voc. tracking. So if I want to mix at the big studio, I don't have my tracks available to me. Anyone out there know of a solution?
Thanks. |

Re: Cubase to Protools
There might be an easier way, but this way will only take a few minutes to do:
STEP 1: Bounce each Cubase track to disk. Start each one at the same BAR, so it lines up easily in ProTools. STEP 2: Just import each track into Protools, and you're in business. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes if you know what you're doin'. |
