Default Spinning wheel of death again

Decided to bite the bullet & installed snow leopard. Now when I record a track & I try to save it freezes up. It also freezes sometimes when I just enable the record button. I've done all the trouble shooting to no avail. I think I read a thread about doing a clean install of snow leopard instead of installing over Leopard. Does any one know if this might solve this problem? And if so, how hard is it to uninstall snow leopard & re-install clean?

That is probably you best option at this point. It is easy to but does take some time. Backup everything twice first. Format the drive and install Snow Leopard.

I'm on 10.5.8 and had something similar. Our Apple store here suggested I try an "archive and install". It worked.

Thanks for the replies, I will probably talk to Apple about the archive thing.
Wish me luck...
