Default Repeatable crash

I've been having a weird issue with my G4 400 AGP, OS 9.2.2, running PT 5.3.1.

Resizing the mix window (dragging the arrows in the lower right hand corner) during playback results in a crash 100% of the time. What's worse, it's not possible to force quit after the crash. It's a total freeze. No tapping fingers.

Anyone seen anything like this? I reformatted/reinstalled everything last night, to no avail. I have 380 MB of RAM with 200 MB allocated to PT.
