Default S3 on seperate ethernet port?

Thanks for reading.

On the old 'trash cans', it was good practice to put your network connection on one ethernet port and put the S3 or Artist mix on the 2nd ethernet port.

Is this still the case, or can I run my S3 and computer network off the network switch thats on my Mac Studio ethernet port?

Thankyou.
Rosco

Default Re: S3 on seperate ethernet port?

If you have separate Ethernet ports on the computer, then yes I'd keep EUCON on it's own network.

If you don't you will likely be fine, for normal network-loads, just try it and see.

Running a switch in front of a computer does not keep network traffic separated, it's all coming into the same port on the computer.
